Man named after fatal crash in the Highlands

A driver who died following a crash on the B9091 at Croy has been named as Peter Kennedy, 56, originally from the Aberdeen area.

The incident happened around 8.10am on Sunday, 17 September, 2023. Peter Kennedy was the driver and sole occupant of a silver Kia Picanto car, which was the only vehicle involved.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Neil MacDonald said: “Our thoughts remain with Peter’s family and friends at this very difficult time.

“Our investigation to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information who has not yet spoken to us to come forward.

“If you can help please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0921 of Sunday, 17 September, 2023.”
