Investigation into thefts in Buchan and Banff

A man has been arrested following an investigation into a series of thefts in Buchan and Banff.

Between 13 September and 16 September, police received several reports of vehicle thefts and thefts from properties and outbuildings in the Cornhill, Deskford and Keith areas.

Following enquiries, officers arrested and charged a 30-year-old man. He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 26 September, 2023. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
