Investigation into series of fireraisings in Aberdeen
Police are appealing for information following a series of wilful fireraisings in the Bucksburn and Dyce areas of Aberdeen over the past few weeks.
Enquiries remain ongoing into multiple incidents, including two fires in Stoneywood on Saturday 19 and Monday 28 August, one at Brimmond Primary School on Saturday, 2 Sepetember, and a further incident at a premises on Kepplehills Road on the same night.
Officers are treating the fires as potentially linked, with each taking place during the late evening or early morning within a two-week period.
Enquiries have established that a man was seen acting suspiciously near to the scene of the Kepplehills Road fire. He is described as being white, around 5ft 7, aged 15-17, slim, with short dark hair, wearing dark clothing and a navy rucksack.
Sergeant Elinor Bosanquet said: “We are appealing for anyone with information or and potential CCTV, video doorbell or dashcam footage, from any of the areas to please come forward.
