Drugs recovery – Milne Avenue, Auchinleck, Ayrshire

On Wednesday, 30 August, 2023, as part of an intelligence-led operation, officers executed a search warrant at an address in Milne Avenue, Auchinleck, Ayrshire.

A quantity of cocaine worth an estimated street value of £20,000 was discovered within the property.

A 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences.

Both appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court on Thursday, 31 August, 2023 and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Terry McEwan from Ayrshire Proactive CID said: “Drugs have no place in our communities and officers are working hard every day to gather intelligence in order to detect and disrupt this abhorrent activity.

“The public continues to play a vital role in assisting our investigations and anyone with information about those involved in drugs supply, should contact Police Scotland through 101 or make an anonymous report to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
