Communications mast damaged by fire - Dreva Hill, Broughton

Officers at Scottish Borders are appealing for any information following a report of a fire set which caused damage to a communications mast located at Dreva Hill, near to Broughton in the early hours of Monday, 25 September.

Detective Constable Joe Carmichael said: “We would urge anyone who was in the area between midnight and 1.30am on Monday morning who saw anyone acting suspiciously, or any drivers with dash-cam footage that may assist us, to contact us.

“Anyone with information that may assist our enquiries should contact 101 with reference number 1170 of 25 September. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
