Appeal following serious crash on the A96 near Huntly
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious three vehicle crash on the A96 Huntly to Inverurie road.
The incident happened around 5.40pm on Thursday, 14 September, 2023, near Cairn Hill and involved a red Honda Jazz, a grey Vauxhall Insignia and a grey Ford Ranger.
Emergency services attended and a 54-year-old man, the driver of the Vauxhall Insignia, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries. His conditions is described as stable.
A 53-year-old man, the driver of the Ford Ranger, was also taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The road was closed for crash investigation and re-opened around 11.50pm.
Police Constable Callum Hogg said: “Our enquiries into the full circumstances of the crash are continuing and we are asking anyone with information that could assist officers to get in touch.
“In particular if you saw the vehicles before the crash or have dash-cam then please make contact with us.”
