Appeal after motorcyclist seriously injured in Highland crash
Road policing officers are appealing for information after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on the B9101 between Cawdor and Auldearn.
The incident happened around 8.50pm on Wednesday, 6 September around two miles west of Auldearn.
The collision involved a white Vauxhall Corsa car and a blue Suzuki GSX600 motorcycle.
The 30-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment to serious injuries.
Neither the driver nor front seat passenger from the car were injured.
The road was closed until around 6am on Thursday, 7 September to allow for an investigation at the scene.
Sergeant Calum MacAulay, of the Highland & Islands Road Policing Unit, said: “Our investigation to establish the full circumstances of this collision is ongoing and I would urge anyone who can help to come forward.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage or who saw either vehicle on the road prior to the crash.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 3981 of 6 September.”
