Theft of high-value ebike, Denholm, Scottish Borders
Detectives are appealing for information following the theft of a high-value ebike from a garden shed in Denholm, Scottish Borders, in the early hours of Monday, 2 October, 2023.
The incident occurred around 1am when the suspects made off with a ‘Specialized Turbo Levo Pro’ bike, which is worth a five-figure sum of money.
They are believed to have driven away from the area in a blue Audi in the direction of Jedburgh.
Detective Constable Ashley Black said: “The suspects have clearly targeted this property, knowing there was a high-value item in the shed, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the Denholm area who noticed any suspicious activity leading up to the theft to please pass this information on to police.
“We would also urge any motorists with dash-cams who were in the area in the early hours of Monday morning to check their footage in case they have captured a blue Audi or anything else which could be of significance.
