Serious road crash on the A9 at Dunrobin, by Golspie
Road Policing Officers at Dingwall are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the A9 at Dunrobin, by Golspie on Saturday, 30 September.
The crash took place around 10am and involved a Peugeot 2008 and a Kawasaki motorbike.
Police and Ambulance attended and the 49-year-old male rider of the motorbike was taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
A 58-year-old man, the driver of the Peugeot was uninjured. He was arrested in connection with a suspected road traffic offence.
The road was closed and re-opened around 5pm.
Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this crash and appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or has information that may assist to come forward.
“In particular, if you have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation then please get in touch.”
