Dangerous driving incident, Kinfauns Drive, Glasgow

We are appealing for information following a dangerous driving incident which occurred in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow on Thursday, 26 October, 2023.

Around 1.20pm officers in a marked police car signalled for a distinctive dark green hatchback style vehicle to stop on Kinfauns Drive.

The male driver failed to do so and instead drove off at excess speed. A short pursuit took place, with the vehicle heading in the direction of Drumchapel Road, before it was lost from sight.

Constable Thomas McNeill from Drumchapel Police Station said: “The actions of the driver were extremely reckless and it is important that we identify and trace him.

“The incident occurred at lunchtime near to a high school and a busy shopping precinct, and was very busy at the time.

 “I am appealing for anyone who is able to identify the vehicle involved, particularly its registration number, to please get in touch.

“I would also urge any motorists with dash-cams, who were in the area at the time, to check in case they have footage of the vehicle.
