Appeal for information following wilful fire in Saltcoats

Police are appealing for information following an incident of wilful fire raising in Saltcoats.

Around 2am on Saturday, 21 October, 2023, officers were called to Dalry Road to a report of two vehicles and a shed on fire.

Detective Constable Ashley O’Neill said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information which could assist our enquiries to get in touch.

“We are particularly keen to speak to the drivers of three vehicles driving in the area at the time.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0412 of 21 October, 2023. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
