Appeal for information following serious assault in Alexandria
Officers are appealing for information following a serious assault in Alexandria that left a 57-year-old woman needing hospital treatment.
The incident happened on Munro Street around 9.10pm on Friday, 20 October, 2023.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital and released following treatment.
The suspect is described as a male in his late 30s, around 5ft 4 inches in height with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue track suit top and blue jeans.
Detective Constable Darren Boag said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or had sight of the man described.
“Likewise if you were driving in the area and have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation then please get in touch.”
