Appeal for information following crash in Overtown, Lanarkshire
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash in Overtown in Lanarkshire.
The incident happened on the A71 near Garrion Bridge around 6.50am on Wednesday, 25 October, 2023, and involved a van and a motorbike.
The 44-year-old male rider of the green Indian Scout motorbike was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The occupants of the grey Ford Transit were not injured.
Enquiries remain ongoing into the circumstances of the crash and officers are appealing for witnesses.
Road Policing Sergeant Chris McColm said: “We’re looking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or saw the vehicles before the crash.
“I’m also keen to hear from anyone with dash cam or any other footage of the area around 6.50am on Wednesday.”
