Appeal following wilful fire raising in Clovenfords

Police are appealing for information following an incident of wilful fire raising in Clovenfords.

Officers responded around 5.10am on Tuesday, 17 October, 2023, following a report of a car on fire on Todburn Way, Clovenfords, Galashiels.

Detective Constable Liam Myers said: “Thankfully nobody has been injured as a result of this incident.

“Although this happened early this morning, we would appeal to anyone who has any information surrounding the fire to come forward and speak to police.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 0412 of 17 October, 2023.
