Appeal following serious road crash, Craigbank Drive, Aberdeen
Police Scotland is appealing for information following a crash in Aberdeen involving one car which left a man seriously injured.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Saturday, 21 October, involving a black Vauxhall Meriva in Craigbank Drive around 11.40am and a 49-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The road was closed to allow investigations to be carried out and re-opened around 4.45pm. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Sergeant Eoin Maxwell from Road Policing said: “A man has been seriously injured as a result of this incident and it is vital we establish exactly what has happened.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in Craigbank Drive this morning and saw anything which could be of relevance to our enquiries to get in touch. I would also urge any motorists with dash-cams to review their footage and come forward if they see anything of significance.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1257 of Saturday, 21 October, 2023.”
