Appeal after man assaulted in Kilmarnock
Detectives are appealing for information after a 33-year-old man was assaulted in Kilmarnock.
The incident happened at a bus stop on Western Road, between the junctions with Ardgour Road and Knockinlaw Road, around 7.30pm on Tuesday, 3 October.
The man suffered a facial injury which required treatment at Crosshouse Hospital.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are working to establish the full circumstances.
Detective Constable Gillian Wilson, of Kilmarnock Police Station, said: “We are appealing to any witnesses who may have seen a man on a blue and black bike in the area to come forward.
“The area was also busy with traffic on Tuesday evening so I would urge anyone who may have seen anything while passing or who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
