Theft and attempted theft in Suffolk Street, Helensburgh

Detectives are appealing for information after a theft and attempted theft from a house in Helensburgh on Thursday, 9 November, 2023.

Around 3.50am, a man gained entry to a house in Suffolk Street and stole items from within and attempted to steal a car parked outside.

Officers attended and carried out enquiries in and around the local area to locate the man responsible and the investigation continues. He is described as wearing a grey long-sleeved top and a black gilet.

Detective Constable John Pryde said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Suffolk Street around the time of the theft on Thursday morning and who saw someone matching his description, or has any information that will assist our enquiry to contact 101 with reference number 0293 of 9 November.
