Man robbed in Tillydrone
Officers are appealing for information following a robbery in Tillydrone, Aberdeen.
Around 2.30am on Friday, 17 November, 2023, a man was walking over the Diamond Bridge, when he was approached by a man who threatened him with an offensive weapon and stole his bag. The bag contained money and personal items. The 26-year-old man sustained arm and leg injuries and attended hospital for treatment.
The suspect is white with a slim build. He was wearing black clothing and a balaclava.
Officers are checking if CCTV footage from in and around the area can provide further detail, however, they are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area to contact them.
Detective Constable Grant Hardie said: “A young man has had personal items and money stolen from him and it’s imperative we trace the man responsible. If you were in the area around the time and noticed something suspicious, please do contact us. Also, if you have dash cam equipment or CCTV home footage please check it as you may have captured an image of the suspect.”
