Male youth arrested in connection with series of housebreakings in Dalkeith

A 17-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of theft and attempted theft by housebreakings in Dalkeith.

The offences took place at various business and educational establishments in the area between Tuesday, 24 October, and Sunday, 19 November, 2023.

He is due to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, 23 November, 2023.
