Appeal over injured man in Helensburgh
Officers in Helensburgh are appealing for information in relation to an injured man in the town.
The 41-year-old presented himself to medical staff in the Granville Road area of the town around 12.30am on Sunday, 26 November.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to a head injury.
He is believed to have been involved in an altercation elsewhere in Helensburgh before this, although the location has yet to be established.
Detective Constable Iain Allison said: “We are working to establish where this man came to be injured, including carrying out door to door and CCTV enquiries.
“I would urge anyone who believes they may have information or who saw or heard a disturbance sometime on the evening of Saturday, 25 November.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0109 of 26 November, 2023, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
