Appeal for witnesses after man injured in collision Glasgow

Road Policing officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured in a collision in Glasgow.

On Sunday, 19 November, 2023, a 50-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a white taxi around 1.15am on Great Western Road, near to Warden Road, Glasgow.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Police Sergeant Sean Dempsey of the Road Policing Unit said: “I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.

“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0264 of 19 November."
