Appeal for information following crash on Great Western Road, Glasgow
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a pedestrian and a car in Glasgow.
The crash happened around 11am on Wednesday, 15 November, 2023 on Great Western Road near to the retail park and involved a blue Toyota Auris.
A 78-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Her condition is described as serious but stable.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Police Constable David Caldwell of the Road Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.
“The road re-opened around 3pm. I want to thank members of the public for their patience while we investigated this serious collision.
“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0991 of Wednesday, 15 November, 2023.”
