Appeal for information following crash in Forres

We are appealing for information following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Forres.

The crash happened on Nairn Road around 11.50am on Sunday, 26 November, 2023.

The pedestrian was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital for treatment.

The 19-year-old driver of the car was charged in connection and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Constable Anna Steventon said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are asking anyone who may have information which could assist officers to get in touch.

“We would also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 1304 of Sunday, 26 November, 2023.
