Appeal following serious sexual assault in Glasgow

Detectives are appealing for information following the serious sexual assault of a woman in the Mitchell Street area of Glasgow.

The incident happened between 5.20am and 6.10am on Sunday, 26 November, 2023.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 28 November, 2023.

“Detective Sergeant Gillian Nixon said: “Our enquiries are continuing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
