Appeal following serious crash on the A96 near Balloch
Road Policing officers in the Highlands are appealing for witnesses and information, following a three-vehicle crash on the A96 near Balloch.
The incident took place around 3.50pm on Friday, 10 November, 2023. It involved a Renault Megane Scenic, a Peugeot 307 and a Nissan Cabstar.
Four people were taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment. The female driver of the Renault remains in hospital, where her condition is described as serious, but stable. The driver and two passengers of the Nissan have been discharged, whilst the driver of the Peugeot did not require hospital treatment.
The road was closed for around 4 hours to allow for investigation and vehicle recovery.
Sergeant Alasdair MacKay, from the Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was on the A96 near Balloch and either witnessed the crash or believes they saw the vehicles involved beforehand, to please get in touch.
“If you have any information which may assist our enquiries, or any potential dashcam footage, please call police on 101, quoting incident 2330 of 10 November, 2023.”
