Appeal following break-in and theft in West Linton
Officers are appealing for information following a break-in and theft to a premises in West Linton.
The incident happened at a property on Carlops Road between Wednesday, 1 November and Wednesday, 8 November, 2023.
A large amount of jewellery estimated to be worth around £30,000 was stolen.
Officers are appealing for anyone who has any information to get in touch.
Detective Constable Louise Begley said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen anything suspicious within this time frame or who may have any information which could assist us to get in touch.
“I would like to take this opportunity to remind people to take precautions to ensure that their homes are as secure as possible before leaving.
“Take time to make sure all locks are working and any alarm systems or CCTV are set before leaving your home and remember to remove or store any valuables out of sight.”
