Appeal following assault - Dumbarton
Detectives are appealing for information following the serious assault of a man in Dumbarton.
Around 10.10pm on Thursday, 16 November, 2023, police received a report of a man having been attacked by a group of four men in Napier Crescent.
Emergency services attended and a 41-year-old man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment and later released.
The men have all been described as white and of average build. The first was wearing a dark puffer jacket with the hood up, dark joggers and trainers. The second was wearing a beanie-style hat, a dark hoodie, joggers and trainers. The third and fourth were wearing full tracksuits.
Detective Constable Iain Allison said: “Extensive enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV that could assist our investigation to contact officers.”
