Woman arrested in Arbroath for drugs offences

Heroin with a potential street value of £2,200 and £1,200 of Cocaine was recovered on Monday, 8 May, after officers acting under warrant entered a property in West Abbey Street, Arbroath.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with drug misuse. She was due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Tuesday 9th May 2023.

Sergeant Peter Mustard said: “We all know the misery drug misuse can cause in our local communities and this demonstrates our continued commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply in the area.

“Information from the public about drug crime is crucial to our investigations and we would urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs within the local community, to contact us.”
