Wilful fire-raising – Crookedholm, Kilmarnock

Police are appealing for information following a wilful fire-raising at a derelict school building in Crookedholm, Kilmarnock, on Sunday, 14 May 2023.

Around 6.30 pm, police and emergency services were called to the deliberate fire at the premises on Grougar Road at Milton Road. No one was injured, however, the building was extensively damaged.

Detective Constable Paul Gartland, Kilmarnock CID, said:

“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen people at the building between 6.15 pm and 6.40 pm. We are also keen to speak to drivers who were on the road between those times who may have dash-cam footage as they may have captured footage that may help our enquiry.”
