Pair jailed in connection with the death of Lee Small, Dundee
Two men have been jailed in connection with the death of Lee Small in Dundee.
The 40-year-old died following a disturbance at a property on Ballindean Terrace around 2.55pm on Wednesday, 8 September, 2021.
Thomas Henderson (left), 31, pleaded guilty to Mr Small’s murder and Michael King (right), 29, pleaded guilty to culpable homicide at the High Court in Dundee on Thursday, 27 April, 2023.
Henderson was jailed for life, with a minimum of 18 years, and King for 10 years and nine months at the High Court in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 31 May, 2023.
Senior investigating officer, Detective Inspector Gavin McKinlay, said: “Lee was within his own home when he was stabbed in a planned and reckless attack. I hope today’s sentencing will bring justice for Lee’s family and friends and our thoughts remain with them as they adapt to life after his tragic death.
“I’d like to thank the members of the local community for their invaluable assistance and support we received during our investigation, which ultimately enabled us to reach this conclusion today.”
