Pair charged following series of break-ins across Lanarkshire
Two men, aged 21 and 33, have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of four incidents of theft by housebreaking or attempted thefts across Lanarkshire, with a total value of stolen items estimated at £496,000.
Officers from Lanarkshire Pro Active Crime Team carried out extensive enquiries into the crimes, which took place at properties in Airdrie, Biggar and Lanark, between Thursday, 16 March and Wednesday, 19 April, 2023.
The two men have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and are expected to appear at court at a later date.
