Men charged after £115,000 in drugs recovered in County Lines operation
Three men have been arrested and charged as a result of a County Lines drugs operation in Aberdeen and Merseyside.
On Friday, 19 May, 2023, officers carried out a series of seven search warrants at addresses across Aberdeen and the Wallasey area of Liverpool. In total, quantities of heroin, cocaine and ‘crack’ cocaine with an estimated street value in excess of £115,000 was recovered.
Two men from the Merseyside area – aged 21 and 25 – and a 41-year-old man based in Aberdeen, have all been arrested and charged in connection with the recoveries. They are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 22 May, 2023.
Detective Sergeant Sam Harris, of North East Division CID, said: “I would like to thank our colleagues at Merseyside Police for their assistance in this investigation, which ran from March to May of this year.
“We remain committed to disrupting county lines activity and we will use all resources at our disposal to rid our communities of drugs, whilst working with partners to provide support to vulnerable people being targeted by these criminals.
