Drugs worth £400,000 seized in Glenrothes
A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with Class A drugs offences after a search warrant was carried out in Glenrothes.
The incident happened on Wednesday, 10 May, 2023, at a premises in the Cable Road area.
Officers attended and cocaine with an estimated value of £400,000 was recovered.
A man appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday, 11 May, 2023, in connection with the incident.
Inspector Kirk Donnelly said: “This is a substantial amount of drugs which has been recovered which would have ultimately made its way on to the streets of Glenrothes and wider Fife area. Local officers continue to work with our partners and the local community and rely on information to identify those involved in the production and distribution of controlled drugs.
