Investigation continues into road traffic collision in Balmore Road, Glasgow
A 13-year-old boy has died following a road traffic collision on Wednesday, 10 May, 2023.
The incident occurred around 5.55pm when a 13-year-old boy was struck by a red Toyota Aygo car in Balmore Road.
Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children. He died on Sunday, 14 May, 2023.
He can be named as Artian Lushaku.
Enquiries into the collision are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Sergeant Nicholas Twigg said: “This is a deeply distressing time for Artian’s family as they try to come to terms with his death. It’s imperative we establish the full circumstances of the collision and our investigation remains ongoing.
“We are keen to hear from the driver of a white van who was in the area around the time of the incident and we would ask them to get in touch with us as we believe they could assist with our ongoing investigation.”
