Appeal for information following serious assault in Broxburn

Officers in Broxburn are appealing for information following a serious assault in the town.

The incident happened around 7.30pm on Saturday, 13 May, 2023 on West Main Street.

A 27-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

Detective Sergeant Keith Sinclair said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch.

“We are also keen to speak with anyone who witnessed this assault or has dash-cam footage that may assist us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3810 of 13 May, 2023 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
