Appeal following serious assault of teen boy in Greenock
Detectives in Greenock are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 15-year-old boy.
The incident took place between Kilmacolm Road and Whinhill train station, at around 9.20pm on Friday, 26 May, 2023.
The victim was attacked by two males with a weapon. He was treated in hospital and released a short time later.
The males are described as wearing all black and had been on an electric pedal bike at the time of the incident.
Detective Constable Stephen Jordan said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the attack, or any suspicious activity, to please come forward.
“We would also ask anyone who may have possible dashcam or CCTV footage from nearby, on the night of Friday, 26 May, to contact officers.
