Appeal following robbery on Forge Street, Glasgow
Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for information following a robbery at a shop in Germiston, on Wednesday, 17 May, 2023.
The incident took place around 7pm in the Forge Street area.
Two men entered the premises with weapons and made away with a two-figure sum of cash. They were last seen running in the direction of Forge Place and Coll Street.
Staff at the shop were uninjured, but shaken, by the incident.
The first man is described as wearing all black clothing, with a heavy hooded jacket and his face covered. The second was wearing a white Nike hooded top, black trousers and his face covered. Both men were wearing black gloves.
Detective Sergeant Laura Roberts, from Govan Police Station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious, or may have potential CCTV or dashcam footage from nearby, to please come forward.
