Appeal following a serious assault in Springburn, Glasgow
Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for information and witnesses after a 48-year old-man was seriously assaulted in Springburn.
The incident happened at a footpath on Cowlairs Road at around 1pm on Saturday, 6 May, 2023.
The man sustained a back injury and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time to come forward.
Detective Constable Katrina Keogh said: "A man has sustained a serious injury and it is imperative we trace whoever is responsible.
"I am appealing for anyone with information that may help our investigation to come forward.
"I am also keen to speak with anyone who witnessed this assault or has dash-cam footage that may assist us."
