Appeal after man assaulted in East Kilbride
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in East Kilbride.
The incident happened outside Scholar’s Gate shortly after 7pm on Sunday, 30 April.
A 21-year-old man became involved in a disturbance with a group of other men which led to him being assaulted.
He was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment to serious injuries and was subsequently discharged.
Detective Constable Frank Donaghy said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing. We understand there were other people in the area around the time who may have witnessed this disturbance.
“We would urge anyone who may have information to get in touch.
