Update on serious assault in Carmelite Lane, Aberdeen

A 50-year-old man has died, following a serious assault in Carmelite Lane, Aberdeen.

The incident took place on Sunday, 12 March, 2023.

The man died at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on the evening of Tuesday, 14 March, 2023. His family have been made aware.

A 45-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident, with further enquiries remaining ongoing.
