Three men charged after man seriously injured during incident in Govanhill Park

Police Scotland can confirm that three men have been arrested and charged in connection with an incident in which a man was seriously injured in Govanhill Park.

The incident happened around 11.50pm on Friday, 10 March, 2023 as a 56-year-old man was walking through the park. He suffered serious injuries as a result and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.

Three men, all aged 21, have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Saturday, 8 April, 2023.
