A further three people arrested for mobbing and rioting
A further three people have been arrested following an investigation into large-scale disorder in Dumbarton on Tuesday, 28 February, 2023.
On Thursday, 23 March, 2023, officers on patrol in Clydebank arrested a 31-year-old man. He was charged in connection with mobbing and rioting and was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday, 23 March, 2023.
Two people were arrested today, Friday, 24 March 2023 following a police operation.
Around 7.30am, officers attended at a property in Brucehill, Dumbarton and arrested a 71 year-old man.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested from a separate address in Brucehill. Both have been charged in connection with mobbing and rioting and are due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 March, 2023.
The incident occurred around 6.50pm on Tuesday, 28 February, 2023 when police responded to reports of disorder in Graham Road in Brucehill.
Additional officers remain in the area to provide reassurance to the local community, if anyone has any concerns, they can approach these officers.
