Chief Constable recruitment process

The Scottish Police Authority (SPA) has commenced its recruitment process for Chief Constable after our Chief Sir Iain Livingstone QPM intimated he will retire from policing this summer.

The recruitment process has been advertised today, Friday 31 March. The deadline for applications is Friday 28 April and the Authority expects to announce a successful candidate in June 2023. More information is available on the SPA's website.
