Officers are appealing for information after a car was stolen in Peebles following a housebreaking.
Between the hours of 11pm and 3am on Wednesday, 29 March, 2023, the car, a blue Volkswagen Golf R TSI, was taken from a driveway at Whitehaugh Park. It's believed the suspects forced their way into the house and stole the car keys.
Officers are reviewing relevant CCTV from the area for any additional information.
Detective Constable Claire White of Galashiels CID said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious to get in touch with us. In particular, I would ask people to think back and consider if they noticed or heard anything unusual between 11pm and 3am, did you notice anyone hanging around? I would also ask anyone with doorbell recording devices to check the footage during those hours as it could have captured images which could assist in our enquiries.”
