Cannabis Cultivation site in Dumfries

Following an operation, officers from Dumfries CID arrested a man for drugs offences.

On Tuesday, 28 March, 2023, officers, acting under warrant searched a property in Annan Road, Dumfries and discovered a cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £21,000.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with drugs offences. He was released on an undertaking and will appear at court at a later date.

Detective Inspector Graeme Robertson of Dumfries CID said: “We are aware of the misery drug misuse can cause in our communities and this operation demonstrates our commitment to removing these harmful substances for our local communities.
