Appeal following theft of BMW in Cumbernauld
Officers are appealing for information following the theft of a car from a driveway in Tintock Place, Cumbernauld.
The incident happened between midnight on Monday, 20 March, and 4.40am on Tuesday, 21 March. A black BMW X6 was taken.
It is believed the vehicle may have been driven to the Arns Road area of Cumbernauld.
Detective Inspector Jim Williamson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened.
“Enquiries so far show that those responsible arrived at the location in another car.
“Anyone who was driving in the area at the time who has dash-cam footage that could assist with our enquiries is asked to get in touch. We are also keen to speak to anyone with private CCTV footage.
“In addition, we are keen to speak to anyone in the Arns Road area between the time the BNW was taken and 8.10 am on Tuesday, 21 March, who may have seen it.”
