Appeal following serious crash near New Pitsligo
Road Policing officers in the North East are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious one-car crash on the A98 near New Pitsligo.
The incident took place around 12.45pm on Sunday, 26 March, 2023, and involved a black Ford Fiesta.
A three-year-old boy was taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with life-threatening injuries. A six-year-old girl and a 27-year-old woman were both taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by road, where they were treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The road was closed whilst investigations were carried out and reopened around 11.20pm.
Road Policing Sergeant Lesley Morrison said: “Enquiries into this incident remain ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash, or believes they saw the Ford Fiesta beforehand, to please come forward.
“We are also keen to hear from any motorists who were in the area and may have dashcam footage from the A98 around the time of the crash.
“If you believe you may be able to assist our investigation, please call police on 101, quoting incident 1376 of 26 March, 2023.”
