Appeal after teenager assaulted in Glasgow city centre
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was seriously assaulted in Glasgow city centre.
The incident happened on Union Street, near to the junction with Gordon Street around 3pm on Tuesday, 7 March, 2023.
The teenager was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment following the incident.
Constable Craig Whyte, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are at an early stage and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to get in touch.
“As the incident happened close to a road we are also appealing for drivers with dashcams to review footage to establish if their cameras have captured the incident.
