Section 12 of Public Order Act invoked in relation to procession in Glasgow

Police Scotland has imposed conditions under Section 12 of the Public Order Act 1986 on a procession, from Glasgow Green to Hampden Park, Glasgow today (Saturday, 3 June, 2023), on the grounds of public safety and to minimise disruption.


Our priority is always public safety and this decision was taken after careful consideration of the potential impact on the local community.
