Pair arrested and charged following drugs recovery in Aberdeen
A 27-year-old man and 22-year-old woman have been arrested and charged as a result of a County Lines drugs operation in Aberdeen.
The arrests took place following the intelligence-led stop of a car on Anderson Drive, on the morning of Wednesday, 7 June, 2023. Search warrants were subsequently executed at two properties in the Gillespie Crescent and Nigg Kirk Road areas of the city.
A total quantity of ‘crack’ cocaine with an estimated street value of around £13,500 was recovered, along with a low four-figure sum of cash. Officers are continuing to follow further positive lines of enquiry.
The pair were expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, 8 June, 2023.
